Celebrating Progress for Each Child & Class |
No child is a zero. The glass is always half full. We can take a child from his / her vantage point forward, create a feeling “I can” instead of “I can’t”, build intrinsic motivation to succeed, and celebrate progress! There is no need to discourage a child by comparing with another. GEMS “Dynamic” positively avoids comparisons. |

“Our job at the Innovation Wing entails visits to CMS campuses throughout the year. We witnessed something quite unique after GEMS was implemented at CMS. We saw at one branch, for example, that some mothers were in tears as their children of Class V were called out to receive the Progress Awards! These mothers told us how their children had never been called up for academic awards in their several years of schooling. We saw the value of honouring ‘progress’ as much as accomplishment.” |
